FNS is taking steps to deliver on the President’s pledge for security. The 2011 Federal Cybersecurity Conference and Workshop will discuss strategies and tactics for securing and defending Federal IT systems and networks for trusted and reliable global communication aligning with the National Cybersecurity Awareness Month’s theme of “Cybersecurity: Our Shared Responsibility.” The 2011 Federal Cybersecurity Conference and Workshop is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month event that will examine these challenges from a variety of perspectives. The conference is also supported by an advisory council consisting of representatives from National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Defense (DoD), the Intelligence Community (IC) and various Industry partners.
